Kimberley Luu
I am an experienced trauma-informed yoga teacher, yoga therapist-in-training (2027 graduation!), and registered yoga nidra facilitator with the Yoga Nidra Network. I am also a yoga researcher, author, and IAYT-approved educator. My love for yoga is deeply personal, it having supported me through sleep disorders and numerous other health challenges. Significant experiences of deep restoration, healing justice, and peaceful reconnection fueled my desire to share in these gifts. My foundational training and continued practice is graciously supported by the lineage of TKV Desikachar as transmitted by my teachers at Yoga Therapy Toronto. I've also engaged in deep explorations within multiple yoga nidra traditions (Bihar, iRest, and Himalayan), ultimately receiving my facilitator certification with Total Yoga Nidra. Since 2011, I have provided yoga services to a diverse range of populations within healthcare settings, retirement homes, yoga studios, workplaces, community centres, college campuses, and transitional homes for refugees. It brings me joy to witness practitioners from many different walks of life uncover their inherent resilience and wholeness. My pronouns are she/ her.
