Are you feeling overworked and overly busy? Do you find yourself trying to rest, but end up spinning your wheels in a “tired but wired” state, often glued to a screen? Give yourself a full afternoon of refuge at the Branches, and come explore a variety of low-to-moderately stimulating practices for cultivating deep rest.

In this day retreat, you’ll be invited to try body-and-mind focused practices like Slow Flow Yoga, grounding strategies, self-massage and stretching, the Tensegrity Repair Series, breathwork, structured journaling, and guided contemplation, finishing with a candlelit Restorative Yoga practice. Leslie will also provide a helpful framework about how the human nervous system works when it comes to stress and relaxation, and what you can do to support its function. Plus, we’ll share a deluxe and delicious catered snack break.

In addition to a day of community and the intentional space for practice, you’ll also get to take home a guided journaling booklet, music playlists to enrich your soundscapes, and 30 days access to a custom playlist of practice videos to provide continued guidance and support for your home practice.

Chill Behaviour is Leslie’s catch-all term for the mix of gentle activities that emphasize presence, slowness, and grounding. Born out of casual conversation a few years ago, Chill Behaviour first emerged as a concept in the workplace culture of the Branches in response to sensing our own need to slow down the hustle and embrace the being mode.

Beginners and not-naturally-chill people very welcome!

This workshop will take place IN-STUDIO only.

Please see our website for our full COVID policies.
