Most of my life's journey is discovering how to find joy and uncovering what gets in my way. I’m a long-time enthusiast of spirituality, yoga, health, art, movement, meditation and meaningful connections. After 25+ years of practicing yoga, beginning with Meaghan Johnson and QSY, I decided to step up my game and participate in the 50-hour Restorative YTT program and the 250-hour YTT with The Branches.

This yogic learning has enhanced my work as a Registered Psychotherapist and I also bring the perspective of our mental and emotional well-being to the mat. In my private practice, I focus on grief, loss and life transitions. In addition, I work with HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre to provide counselling to those experiencing cancer and their caregivers. It is beautiful and powerful to weave together all these aspects of our experience – pain, sorrow, hopes and dreams - as we stretch ourselves to heal and grow.

I approach life and work with a desire for balance, a zest for the creative and a natural curiosity, and I bring this energy to my classes. My goal is to create an environment where we can tune in and nurture awareness of our internal experience while also finding levity and grace with ourselves.
