    Have you been moving too fast? Our Candle Restorative is an opportunity for slowing down, deep rejuvenation, and self-care. The class will include guided self-massage to melt away tension using our favorite warm acupressure massage balls.   • IN-STUDIO Supreme Release Yoga & Yoga Nidra Workshop
    $45+hst Community Supporter | $35+hst Standard Rate | $25+hst Subsidized Rate
     
    Come explore the softer sides of yoga. This workshop will include gentle shapes that decompress and nourish the spine. These transformational embodiment practices gently nurture opening and promote release of holding patterns. Following the Supreme Release Yoga, Kendra will guide you in Yoga Nidra, or conscious sleep. This is a yogic technique which systematically brings you into a state of deep relaxation on all levels—physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. Yoga Nidra is typically practiced lying down comfortably on your back in savasana, supported by cushions and covered lightly with a blanket. It is perfect for everyone to try—even those who have never practiced any form of yoga before. Just lie back, get comfortable, listen to the teacher’s instructions and let go.

    Our Intro to Yoga courses are great for brand new beginners, those restarting their practice after a long break, and anyone new to practicing alignment-based yoga. The focus is on standing poses and key principles of alignment to increase strength, balance, stamina, and flexibility. Intro to Yoga classes will build progressively from week to week to empower you to move deeper into your practice in a safe and consistent way. Classes also incorporate breathing techniques and restorative poses to release tension and reduce stress.

    Come practice yoga with your baby in a supportive environment. This is a 6-week, pre-registered course for parents/caretakers and their little ones. A great way to get out of the house and enjoy some gentle exercise to take care of your body and connect with your baby in a community of other parents. We set up class in a circle, with a pile of toys and books for little ones to play with while parents get to enjoy some easy-going flow practice. Beginners welcome! Classes will take place in our ground floor studio, and you’re welcome to leave strollers on our porch.
     
    ** This class is intended for mobile babies between 9 months - 2 years old. If your baby is younger than this and hasn't started crawling yet, check out our Parent & Peanut course.

    Join with others in the community and learn classic seated mindfulness meditation as well as gentle yoga poses and other mindful movement practices. In this course, Danette will guide you through the basics of meditation from posture through to presence.   • IN-STUDIO Yoga & Mindfulness for Kids (ages 6+)

    *Parents can sign up using their account.
    This playful and engaging class introduces kids to the practice of yoga through games, interaction, and creativity. Each class will give your child a chance to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and learn mindfulness tools for focus and emotional regulation - all in a warm and lighthearted environment. Exploring movement in this non-competitive and supportive way can help children develop their body awareness and self-esteem.

    ** Appropriate for kids 6+. Guided practice is from 10-10:45am, followed by 15 minutes for snacks, stories and playtime. Pick-up is between 10:45-11am. Please send along a simple, non-messy snack if your child would like to stay for snack-time. This class takes place in our Ground Floor studio. There’s a simultaneous adult Drop-In Class from 10-11am in our Sky Studio if parents want to use this time to practice too (Drop-In Passes sold separately).

  • VIRTUAL Yoga for Dynamic Aging

    A progressive series of classes focusing on balance, strengthening for bone density (specifically hips), foot health and mobility, deep core and pelvic floor strength and function. We are all aging every day, so all ages and abilities are welcome!

This practice will be beginner friendly, and will take you on a journey through flowy, fun, and firey moves. We'll end with a kid-friendly guided meditation and feel the gentle energy of resting our bodies together so you’ll leave refreshed for the week ahead.

    Take a journey towards greater physical freedom and ease in everyday life, sports, and movement in this course that goes beyond flexibility. If you want to change how your body works, stretching isn’t going to cut it. This is where mobility training comes in.

    Sessions will include a little asana flow, some education, and a lot of targeted and precise joint mobilization work that might have you sweating and cramping. Through mastering the basics and putting in the time to make real change, you can look forward to new feelings of strength and increases in your range of motion.

    Many of us come to yoga as a way to connect with our bodies, only to find that the poses can be extremely challenging if you’re at all inflexible. We all know that getting the “deepest expression” of a pose is not the point of yoga, but increasing your physical capacities is still a worthy goal towards living better as a human being.

    About the Teacher: Leslie is passionate about mobility work as a way to increase joint ranges of motion in a strong and sustainable way. As a graduate of Cecily Milne’s Yoga Detour Method, Leslie is a Detour-informed instructor who also became an FRCms - Functional Range Conditioning mobility specialist, under the instruction of Dr. Andreo Spina. She is fascinated by the way human bodies work and loves to share this curiosity and enthusiasm with her students.

Courses: Our courses inlcude 4-6 interactive, weekly sessions. This approach allows for a progressive experience and/or a deeper exploration of topics. In addition, course participants receive access to a virtual course portal that includes recordings of any live-streamed classes, and a set of on-demand video practices and other learning materials specially selected to complement the course. To allow plenty of time to explore these offerings, all participants will have access to the course portal for 90 days. All participants will recieve an email a day or two before the course begins with information on studio policies, how to join a class virtually, and how to access the course portal.

Hybrid Courses - Many of our courses have the option to join in-studio or virtually, so be sure to read the course title & description carefully when you sign up. By registering for the IN-STUDIO option of a hybrid course, you may choose to attend each session in-person or online. If you prefer to attend all the sessions online, please register for the VIRTUAL listing of the course as in-person spots are limited.

In-Studio Courses - Courses with only an IN-STUDIO listing will not include a virtual participation option, and class sessions will not be recorded.

Workshops: Our workshops are single modules that either introduce a concept that supports your regular practice, or dives deep into a special topic to stoke your curiosity. Workshops come with additional take-home handouts and video replay access to solidify your learning.

**In the event of a mandated shut down due to COVID, workshops courses will pivot to virtual livestream classes or will be postponed, depending on the nature of the practice. Registration fees will not be refunded.

These policies apply to courses and workshops that are valued at $150 or less (before taxes). 

Fees will be returned as follows:

With notice of 7 days or longer:  100% studio credit -or- a refund less a $15 fee.

With notice of 6 days to 24 hours:  50% studio credit

No refunds of any kind will be given for no-shows or for less than 24 hours notice.

If you contact us in advance to make arrangements to have a friend take your spot, we may be able to adjust which type of refund you are eligible for. Except in extenuating circumstances, no refunds of any kind will be granted if notice is given once the course or workshop has begun.

These policies apply to retreats, workshops, or intensives which are 5 hours or longer and/or valued at $150 or higher (before taxes). Does not apply to YTT.
